Support Those Impacted by Dallas Shooting Tragedy
On behalf of the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, our hearts and prayers go out to the Dallas and DART police officers, their families, and to all others that have been negatively impacted by the Dallas shootings that took place on July 7th. We are grateful for all the law enforcement officers and other first responders that put everything on the line to save lives, and for the community leaders that have made difficult decisions and kept us informed throughout this ordeal. It is because of them, and many others from all segments of the community, that Dallas will emerge from this a more resilient city.

UNITED WAY OF METROPOLITAN DALLAS
UNITED DALLAS RELIEF FUND
The United Dallas Relief Fund was organized on Friday, July 8, 2016 after community leaders asked United Way to establish a long-term fund that includes mental health services to support victims, first responders and their families, and civilians, as well as to initiate efforts to bring the community together.
United Way officials and community leaders will assess the longer-term needs of the community in the aftermath of this tragedy, and the funds will be disbursed to non-profit organizations via a grants process with the input and guidance of Mayor Rawlings, Police Chief Brown, and the city leaders of Dallas to support those affected and the most urgent needs as they work to unify our community.
The donation page is live at UnitedWayDallas.org.
In addition, AT&T has established a national “text to give” effort to support the United Dallas Relief Fund. You can simply text Dallas Strong to 50555 to donate.
